LanPlay is a free browser-based party game platform where one big screen is the arena and everyone’s phone is the controller. Open it on a TV, laptop or projector, and up to eight people join by scanning the QR code on that screen. There is nothing to download on either end, no app store, no account and nothing to pay.
There are 13 games, and they are deliberately not all the same thing. Some are last-one-standing arcade scrambles, some are physics brawls where you knock each other off a shrinking plank, one is a co-op rhythm game where the whole room shares a single life, and one is a talking game with no reflexes in it at all. Rounds run between 60 and 100 seconds, so a whole game is about five minutes.

What is LanPlay?
LanPlay is a free browser party game platform. A TV, laptop or projector is the shared screen, and every player's phone is the controller. Up to 8 people join by scanning a QR code — no downloads, no accounts, nothing to pay.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Both halves are web pages: the shared screen and each phone's controller. Nothing goes through an app store, and nothing is left on anyone's phone afterwards.
Is it free?
Yes, all thirteen games, with no subscription, no packs to buy, no in-game purchases and no ads between rounds.
How many people can play?
Up to 8 players in a room. Eight of the thirteen games also work solo as a high-score run, and Wavelength is played in pairs so it needs an even number.
What do I need to host?
Any screen with a modern browser — a smart TV, a laptop on an HDMI cable, a projector or a monitor — plus one phone per player. No console, no gamepad, no Bluetooth pairing.
Do the phones need to be on the same Wi-Fi as the screen?
No. Players join through the room code over the internet, so someone on mobile data can join a screen on home Wi-Fi.
